Arrow Electronics Inc. (NYSE: ARW), Englewood, CO, reported full-year sales for 2014 of $22.8 billion, a 6.6 percent increase from the previous year. Profit increased 24.7 percent to $498 million.
Sales for the fourth quarter were $6.4 billion, a 4 percent increase from the same period a year ago. Profit decreased 13.8 percent to $116.2 million.
Global components fourth-quarter sales increased 3 percent year over year to $3.6 billion, with sales in the Asia-Pacific region increasing 8 percent. Global enterprise computing solutions sales increased 3 percent to $2.8 billion, with sales in the Americas up 9 percent.
