B/E Aerospace Inc. (NASDAQ: BEAV), Wellington, FL, reported full year sales for 2014 of $2.6 billion, an increase of 18 percent from the previous year. Profit decreased 69.1% to $57.7 million.
Sales for the fourth quarter were $637.8 million, a 10.1 percent increase over the same period a year ago. The company reported a loss of $36 million, as compared to a profit of $51.6 million the same period a year ago.
“2014 was a defining year in the history of the company. We completed the spin-off of KLX, our consumables management segment, which was comprised of the aerospace distribution and energy services businesses,” said Amin J. Khoury, CEO. "The speed with which we completed the spin-off of KLX enables B/E Aerospace to start 2015 with a compelling value proposition.”
