Motion Industries, No. 6 on MDM’s 2014 list of the top 40 industrial distributors, will acquire MRO distributor Miller Bearings Inc., Orlando FL.
The purchase will help Motion Industries, Birmingham, AL, a subsidiary of Genuine Parts Co. (NYSE: GPC), Atlanta, GA, expand its presence in Florida, where Miller Bearing operates in 17 locations.
"The addition of Miller Bearings better positions Motion Industries for continued growth in the Southeast," said Tim Breen, president and CEO of Motion Industries.
