Continental Building Products Inc. (NYSE: CBPX), Herndon, VA, manufacturer of gypsum wallboard and finishing products, reported third quarter sales of $114.6 million, an increase of 5.9 percent year-over-year. Profit increased 46.5 percent to $6.2 million.
Year-to-date sales were $343.2 million, a 10.2 percent increase compared to the prior year period. Profit increased to $31.4 million compared to $6.1 million the prior year.
