Patterson Pump Agrees to Acquire Morrison Pump

Acquisition expands company's position in municipal flood control and water management markets.

Patterson Pump Co., a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Gorman-Rupp Company (NYSE MKT: GRC), has agreed to acquire Morrison Pump Co., Hollywood, FL. Terms were not disclosed.

Morrison Pump, with 2016 sales of $7 million, is a manufacturer of large capacity pumping systems primarily for the municipal flood control and water management markets.
