Plumbing, HVACR and PFV distributor First Supply announced the opening of a new Detroit-area branch in Madison Heights, MI.
Operations are expected to begin in the first quarter of 2025.
The Madison Heights branch will be a full-service plumbing hub, serving contractors, builders and homeowners in the region. Located near I-75 and I-696, the Midwest-based company said the new branch will increase access to First Supply’s products and services in the region.
First Supply entered the Michigan market with the 2018 opening of its KOHLER Signature Store in Birmingham.
“This expansion reflects First Supply’s commitment to growth and innovation,” First Supply President & CEO Katie Seymour said in a Nov. 7 news release. “The timing couldn’t be better—our enhanced transportation and logistics model, made possible by our new distribution center under construction in West Salem, WI, positions us to serve the Detroit market and beyond with greater efficiency. With 127 years in the business and a strong foundation through our longstanding partnership with the KOHLER Signature Store, we’re proud to carry forward our legacy of exceptional service.”
To support the new branch, First Supply said it will be hiring for roles in branch management, customer service and operations.
