DXP Enterprises Sales Down 16.8% in 2015

Fourth-quarter sales tumble 27.1 percent.

DXP Enterprises Inc. (NASDAQ: DXPE), Houston, TX, reported sales for 2015 of $1.2 billion, a decrease of 16.8 percent compared to the prior year. The company reported a net loss of $38.5 million, up from a loss of $45.2 million in 2014.

DXP's innovative pumping solutions sales declined 26.8 percent to $254.8 million for 2015. Service centers sales declined 16.3 percent to $826.6 million for 2015. And supply chain services sales increased 1 percent to $165.6 million.

The company reported sales for the fourth quarter of $278.7 million, a decrease of 27.1 percent compared to the same period a year ago. The company reported a net loss of $2.9 million, up from a loss of $88.1 million in fourth-quarter 2014.
