Crane Co. (NYSE: CR), Stamford, CT, reported 2016 sales of $2.7 billion, up 0.3 percent from 2015. Profit decreased 46.4 percent to $122.8 million.
Sales for the fourth quarter were $681.4 million, an increase of 7.3 percent from the same period a year ago. The company reported a loss of $64 million, down from a profit of $65.2 million in the fourth quarter of 2015.
