Sonepar subsidiary Cooper Electric recently shared a sneak peek of its new 650,000-square-foot central distribution center in Monroe, New Jersey, where the company was able to triple its Learning Lab training area that first opened in 2016.
The expanded lab now accommodates residential and commercial application spaces and even a dedicated section for outdoor lighting, Sonepar said in a news release.
“The Learning Lab is specifically designed for incoming electrical distribution professionals at Cooper Electric,” said Matt McCormack, Territory Sales Manager for Cooper Electric one of the creators of the Learning Lab. “We’ve put together a team of experienced sales leaders to build this program, and it’s led by a seasoned electrician. In the Lab, we expose associates to topics like product application in rough and final stages, functionality of products we sell like wireless, EV charging, generators and more, service installs right down to the separate branch circuits, and manufacturer training.”
The company said the Learning Lab is the first step in Cooper Electric’s three-part training course, EVOLVE. Watch a video about the Learning Lab below.
