IPH-Brammer Group, supplier of industrial MRO products and services in Europe, in June announced a rebrand. Now known as Rubix, the name change brings an end to the interim period since the September 2017 merger of IPH and Brammer.
“We are a new company, with an agenda to transform our industry and provide innovative value-adding services and propositions for our customers,” said Group CEO Martin Gaarn Thomsen, in a statement. “Our new brand encapsulates our ambition to help our customers in a smarter way and keep their businesses running smoothly.”
The “fragmented” industrial products distribution market in Europe has promising growth and margin prospects, Gaarn Thomsen said. Rubix will use its “unparalleled network” to foster close customer connections and value-added services from its technical specialists, he added.
“The name, Rubix, signifies problem solving and the creative and human approach we adopt to resolving problems and providing solutions for our customers,” Gaarn Thomsen said.
Rubix’s more than 650 locations across Europe brought in more than €2.2 billion (US$2.5 billion) in sales in 2017.
