Illinois Material Handling Acquires Servicemax

Acquisition expands company's presence in the Chicago Metro and Northwest Indiana markets.

Illinois Material Handling, Elk Grove Village, IL, has acquired material handling distributor Servicemax Inc., Bolingbrook, IL. Terms were not disclosed.

Servicemax Inc., which will continue to operate out of Bolingbrook, IL, under the Illinois Material Handling brand name, provides sales, service, parts and rentals to the Chicago Metro and Northwest Indiana markets.

Illinois Material is a subsidiary of Brookfield, WI-based Wolter Group LLC, which owns material handling dealerships in Illinois, Wisconsin and Michigan.
