Germany-based Würth Group reported sales for the first half of 2016 of €5.9 billion (US$13.1 billion), up 8.6 percent from the same period a year ago.
The company reported strong growth in Southern Europe and in Germany.
“All in all we are satisfied with the development of the Würth Group”, says Robert Friedmann, board chairman. “Our multichannel sales concept is bearing fruit: direct selling, brick-and-mortar stores and e-business.”
