Paper and packaging distributor Millcraft appointed Greg Lovensheimer as President — the first non-family member to obtain the role in the company’s 104-year-history.
Lovensheimer, an industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience, joined Millcraft in 2013. In his new position, Lovensheimer will manage the daily operations of the company.
“Greg has brough an incredible amount of passion, operational efficiencies and clarity to our business through organized processes,” Millcraft CEO and fourth-generation family member Travis Mlakar said in a Sept. 18 news release. “His genuine love for our business and industry pushes us forward each day to be a better company.”
Mlakar, who has led the company as President since 2012 and has served as both President and CEO since 2018, will continue his role as CEO. He will focus on strategic growth opportunities.
Under Lovensheimer’s leadership, Millcraft said it is set to leverage its largest investment since the company’s founding in 1930 — the development of a new technology platform.
Lovensheimer currently serves as Chairman of the National Paper Trade Association (NPTA).
