Beaumont, Texas-based Coburn Supply Company, a distributor of HVAC, electrical and plumbing products, announced March 16 its acquisition of Bay Electric Supply. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 1978, Bay Electric Supply is a family-owned, full-line electrical supply store in League City, Texas, just southeast of Houston. Bay Electric adds to the more than 60 Coburn Supply branches across Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Tennessee.
“The addition of Bay Electric Supply allows Coburn’s to expand our support in the metro-Houston area,” Coburn Supply President Patrick Maloney said in a news release. “We are proud to continue to provide top quality products and excellent service to professional and homeowner customers in East Texas.”
Coburn Supply will retain all Bay Electric Supply employees and focus the location on electrical and HVAC products, according to the news release.
