Sweden-based fasteners manufacturer BUMAX announced the appointment of its new master distribution partner, Star Stainless Screw Company.

Star Stainless Screw, established in 1950, is a New Jersey-based importer and distributor of fastener products including stainless steel and other alloy materials in the U.S.

“After a long road, I am happy to see our agreement finalized. A key challenge in the US has always been the geographic size and diversity of the market,” BUMAX Distribution Segment Manager Jacob Bergström said in a July 30 news release.”Bringing together the expertise of both companies, we can now begin the important work of raising awareness of the advantages of BUMAX high-strength stainless steel fasteners in the U.S. market and making our products more readily available throughout the region.”

Star Stainless will stock and supply a range of BUMAX high-strength steel products to fastener distributors and industrial product suppliers across the U.S. The duo said the partnership will improve availability, accessibility and speed of supply of BUMAX products in the U.S.
