Acuity Brands Inc. (NYSE: AYI), Atlanta, reported fiscal fourth-quarter sales of $938.1 million, down 11.6% compared to the year-ago period. Net income decreased 11.1% to $96.1 million.
Sales for the full fiscal year decreased 0.2% to $3.67 billion. Net income for the year was $330.4 million, down 5.4% over last year.
Profit fell 13.7% during the quarter to $57.2 million.
Annual sales were down slightly.
Full-year sales grew 6% to $370.8 million.
