Stifel advised Kinderhook Industries on the acquisition of Auto-Wares Group of Companies, a collection of family-owned and operated regional distributors of automotive parts. Auto-Wares offers a range of products through independent jobbers, distribution centers, company-owned stores and auto parts stores.

Stifel advised Universal Marine Medical Supply International (“Unimed”), a portfolio company of Comvest Partners, on its sale to Z Capital Partners, the private equity arm of Z Capital Group (“ZCG”), a leading privately-held merchant bank. Brian is a Managing Director and leads Stifel’s Specialty Distribution Group. Prior to joining Stifel, Brian spent over 20 years at Raymond James, where he founded and served as Head of the Distribution and Building Products investment banking group. During his career, he has completed over 100 M&A and capital markets transactions.
Brian graduated from Harvard Law School, cum laude. He also holds a B.S. in Business Administration with highest distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa.
