Sweden-based pump, compressor and vacuum equipment manufacturer Atlas Copco announced in October that it has added three distributors to its compressor business.
Atlas Copco Makes Acquisition in Medical Gas Solutions Space
On Oct. 11, Atlas Copco announced it acquired two Concord, New Hampshire-based companies from a single owner: William G Frank Medical Gas Testing and Consulting, and Medical Gas Credentialing.
The businesses provide medical and laboratory gas services to customers in New England, including annual inspections, consulting and credentialing services, preventative maintenance, parts supply, equipment sales and professional development and training.
The purchase price is not disclosed. The business will be integrated into BeaconMedaes, which is part of the Medical Gas Solutions Division in the Compressor Technique Business Area.
Atlas Copco Eyes Growth in Slovakian Compressor Market
On Oct. 16, Atlas Copco Group announced it acquired ACJ, a compressor distributor in western Slovakia which offers sales and service of compressors, dryers, and other compressed air equipment to general industry.
“The acquisition will extend our service and sales offering in Slovakia, which is a market where we see a potential for growth,” said Vagner Rego, Business Area President Compressor Technique, in a news release.
The purchase price is not disclosed. The acquired business becomes part of the Service Division within the Compressor Technique Business Area.
