McCarty Equipment Corp., Abilene, TX, a subsidiary of GHX Industrial and The United Distribution Group, has acquired the assets and operations of the Bakersfield, CA location of Alternative Hose.

“Bakersfield has been the hub of California oil production and has been one of the U.S.’s top producing areas for decades," said Kelly McCarty, president of McCarty Equipment. "The Bakersfield location of Alternative Hose focuses primarily on the upstream business and McCarty can supplement what the location provides with a number of additional key products to better serve key oilfield supply and oilfield service customers.”

The acquisition helps meet The United Distribution Group's ongoing strategic focus of expanding their service throughout the U.S. and Canada.
