Roadblocks don't have to be "the end" if companies are willing to change the way they think about limitations, says Phil Hansen, keynote speaker at PTDA's 2015 Industry Summit, in PTDA Summit Inspires, Motivates, Leads.
According to Hansen, the first step in changing the way limitations affect us is to distinguish between true limitations – such as lack of time, money, resources or tools – and self-limiting beliefs – “things we put in our own way.”
Instead of letting limitations stop progress, Hansen suggests embracing limitations and using them as a source of inspiration – which may even lead to unseen opportunities.
“There are many ways of getting to where we want to go if we’re willing to let go of the limiting beliefs that prevents us from imagining the possibilities,” he says.
