Global electronic components distributor Digi-Key Corp., Thief River Falls, MN, reported North American sales in 2014 saw year-over-year growth of 11 percent, though it didn't release the amount. As a privately owned company, Digi-Key also doesn't report net income. The company also said its 2014 global revenues were $1.76 billion.
Digi-Key said in a press release that its 2014's revenues were bolstered by an "especially healthy demand for Internet of Things (IoT) or device-to-device connectivity driven by advances in wireless, embedded, single board computers, sensors and motion control along with demand for cloud-enabled applications."
